| Description: | Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 977894 is not installed, which could allow a remote attacker to exploit the following vulnerability: Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by improper validation of the encoding of specific machine instructions executed inside the guest virtual machines by the Hyper-V server. A local authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability from a hosted guest virtual machine using a malformed sequence of machine instructions to cause the Hyper-V server to stop responding. |
