Description:

A critical vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Flash Player version 10.1.53.64 and earlier. This vulnerability could cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

This vulnerability could result in remote code execution if a victim opens a specially-crafted SWF file. Links to a malicious document can easily be sent through spam or through links on seemingly non-malicious Web sites.

Technical Description:

Vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.  By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted SWF file, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
